Happy Birthday Mommy!

Happy Birthday Mommy! I want to come clean... Nicholas and Daddy really made you a birthday card....I am only 5 weeks old and I am not allowed to play with crayons yet. I love you.

My 1st Christmas

Hard to believe my 1st Christmas is in the books... probably because I slept most of the day. That way I was wide awake during the night and I asked Mom to keep me company. Grand Mom and Pop Pop Trasatti, Uncle Bob, Aunt Carrie, Madison, and Bobby came over our house on Christmas which was great. Nicholas and I received so many gifts from Santa and my family that the entire dining room was filled with presents.

Daddy has been sick for the past 3 days and is finally starting to feel better. If everyone is feeling well this weekend maybe Mom and Dad will take Nicholas and I to the shore house to spend the weekend with Grand Mom and Pop Pop Trasatti.

4 Weeks Old... on Christmas Eve

I was 1-month old on Christmas Eve when Mom and Dad took this picture of me, Grand Mom and Nana.... Dad limited my internet access so I apologize for the blog delay. We went to Aunt La La and Uncle JJ's house on Christmas Eve which was lots of fun. I got lots of presents...so many that Mom and Dad are still unpacking everything.

And by the way, if you noticed I didn't have a 1-month old sign in the picture, it is because Mom and Dad are a little behind. Sounds like the second child can get a raw deal, but I bet they will make it up to me real soon.

I am growing....

I saw the doctor this week and I am growing nicely... I am now 8 lbs 3 oz. Mom and Dad now have me sleeping in my own room at night because I make lots of little squeaks and apparently they aren't getting much sleep. Since I am the second child I got to move out to my own room quickly.

I am eating every 2.5 to 3 hours and am taking 3 to 4 ounces at a time. I like to watch tv from 10pm to 12 midnight so I make sure I am wide awake so I don't miss a thing. This makes it more difficult on Mom and Dad as they would like to get some sleep.

Christmas is 5 days away...can't wait to see what Santa brings me!

Getting kisses from my brother

My brother loves me so much he gives me kisses... in case he denies it in the future here is a picture. Mom and Dad did a photo shoot of Nicholas and I this morning so they can get the Christmas cards in the mail asap, since it is 15 days away.

I saw the doctor last week and I am now 6lbs 6 ounces. I am starting to sleep a little better at night which is good. Today I woke up a little congested so Mom and Dad will keep a close eye on me.

Uncle Bill, Aunt Sheila, Maria, and Nana came to see me on Monday which was fun. I got lots of nice gifts from Nana and Uncle Bill/Aunt Sheila...thank you!

Day and Night... Night and Day

I came home with Mom and Dad on Thanksgiving and was on my best behavior while we had company.... I slept most of the time. During the night I hit my stride and was wide awake from 2am to 6am... which made it difficult for Mom to sleep. But yesterday I had a bit of a breakthrough... I was awake for most of the afternoon and I went to sleep after every feeding during the night... Mom fed me at 1am and Dad fed me at 4:30am. Daddy was thrilled with my progress!

I went to my first doctor appointment on Saturday and I gained 1 oz which was good. I go back to the doctor again this week for a weight check so as long as I continue to gain weight I will be in good shape. Every time my big brother sees me he says "baby"... Mom and Dad are working on telling him my name is Sam...but "baby" is a great start... I just love my big brother!
